Fresh mahi-mahi flown in from Ecuador where it is wild-caught out of the Gulf of Mexico. Mahi-mahi has a lean flesh with a mild sweat flavor. It has a moderately firm texture and with large moist flakes. Mahi-mahi can be prepared in a number of ways. Lightly season and butter baste in a pan until fully cooked. Top with a fresh mango salsa. Or season with earthy spices and use for fish tacos.
Pieces are cut skin off and are approximately 16oz (1LB), received fresh, and frozen immediately upon receiving.
