Everyone loves comida de futbol, right? In Argentina, it is popular to get a sandwich called “Choripan” when heading out to a soccer match. This sandwich is an argentinian chorizo that is grilled over wood, served on crispy bread and topped with a pile of fresh chimichurri. Sound awesome? We thought so too. So we did a little research to find an authentic recipe. Ultimately we had a friend that is an importer of Argentinian wine reach out to some of his friends on the ground and they got us set up with a recipe that needed some adaptation into more of a scientific form. Weights and measures… you know… Important stuff! What we have here is a delightful link that is flavorful, earthy, a little heat and oh so good! As with all of our sausages and bacons, we start with Indiana protein sustainably raised and free of added hormones, antibiotics and processing chemicals.
